Here's the repair & recovery equipment that permanently lives in the truck (with the exception of the "toolbox & assorted hand tools", which gets shuttled from the garage to the truck for each trip).   All the equipment (except the toolbox & hand tools) stows away in a low-profile (5" tall) custom cargo box in the cargo area of the truck.

Note that the first aid kit that lives in the truck is much more limited than the backcountry kit listed in the Backcountry Gear List.   Since I'm never off-road without my backpack, I always have the Backcountry First Aid Kit and the Survival Kit with me.
