Alpenglow befalls our camp on the glacier just south of Mt.
Charlie-Charlie. In the distance (just above and to
the left of Tim) is the infamous "Vulcan's Thumb"; a 2285m
(7500 ft) spire which, despite many attempts, remains unclimbed
to this day due to it's technical difficulty.
