Having reached the top of the Snowpatch-Bugaboo col, we find
ourselves on the Vowell Glacier, where one can turn left toward Snowpatch
Spire, right to climb Bugaboo Spire, or continue across the glacier to
Pigeon Spire in the background.
Our objective however is the Hound's Tooth, which is surrounded by a
rather treacherous icefall.
