Wayne takes one more look at the Howser Massif from Pigeon
Spire.
The leftmost peak is South Howser, on the back side of which is a 770m
(2500 ft) vertical wall of granite containing the Beckey-Chouinard
route... 20 pitches, V 5.10a, and widely regarded as one of the best
alpine climbs in North America.
