Here I am standing at the base of the Snowpatch-Bugaboo
col, humbled by the South face of Snowpatch Spire.
You can't gain an appreciation of the size of these granite spires
until you look at one from up close.
The face I'm looking up is about 600m (2000 ft) straight up.
