Highway 93 South joins Highway 93 North (the Icefields Parkway) which leads from Banff National Park to Jasper National Park. This is an area of big, serious routes like "M-16", the 1000m (3300ft) WI7+ first ascent of the East face of Howse Peak.

It is also home to the "Weeping Wall", seen here. The lower Weeping Wall leads to the trees, above which a second and third level, known as the "Upper Weeping Wall" contains several harder routes such as Weeping Pillar (170m WI6, at top left) and Mare in Winter (200m WI4+, at top right).
