Being in the Coast Mountains we should have expected that the
weather wouldn't last. The weather deteriorated and the
chopper wasn't going to be able to fly us out, so we had to navigate
through the whiteout obscuring the peaks behind Wayne in the photo, and
hike down out of the clouds to the hut at Lake Lovely Water in the hope
that the visibility would be better there, allowing the chopper to
land. If not, we would have to hike all the way out on
foot, cursing ourselves for having to carry all those extra luxury
items that we brought in because we thought we wouldn't have to carry
them on our backs!
