The North face of Mt. Serratus looks daunting in shadow as we approach from the Dione glacier. This shot was taken during our return from Mt. Dione. Our camp is actually in the Red Tit col, which is closer to the mountain than we were when this photo was taken.

We climbed the North face, then descended via the southwest spur (not visible in the photo), then into the couloir leading to the Ionia-Serratus col.
