Yogi Tea

Health-Promoting, Soothing.

Spices used in the tea have the following properties:
Black Pepper:Blood Purifier
Cardamom:Digestive Aid
Cloves:Beneficial to Nervous System
Cinnamon:Strengthens Bones
Ginger Root:Healing for Colds and Flus, Increases Energy

To 2 quarts of water add the following:

  • 15 whole cloves
  • 20 cardamom pods (crushed slightly)
  • 15 black peppercorns
  • 5 2-inch sticks of cinnamon
  • 8 slices ginger root

Boil gently 30 - 40 minutes (adding more water as it evaporates) then add:

  • 1/2 teaspoon black tea
  • 3-4 cups of milk (or soya milk)

Bring to a boil. Turn off and add Honey to taste. Strain and Serve.
Makes 2-3 quarts

 

Golden Milk

Lubricates Joints and Helps Break up Calcium Deposits.

  • 1/8 tsp Turmeric and Ground Cardamom
  • 1/4 c Water
  • 8 oz. Milk (Soya Milk)
  • 2 Tbsp. Raw Almond Oils (or Udo's Oil)

Boil turmeric in water 8 minutes to form paste (may add more water) Add milk Cardamom, Bring to a Boil. Add Oil and honey if desired. Can whiz in blender to make frothy for a change.
