Yogi Tea
Health-Promoting, Soothing.
Spices used in the tea have the following properties:
| Black Pepper: | Blood Purifier |
| Cardamom: | Digestive Aid |
| Cloves: | Beneficial to Nervous System |
| Cinnamon: | Strengthens Bones |
| Ginger Root: | Healing for Colds and Flus, Increases Energy |
To 2 quarts of water add the following:
- 15 whole cloves
- 20 cardamom pods (crushed slightly)
- 15 black peppercorns
- 5 2-inch sticks of cinnamon
- 8 slices ginger root
Boil gently 30 - 40 minutes (adding more water as it evaporates) then add:
- 1/2 teaspoon black tea
- 3-4 cups of milk (or soya milk)
Bring to a boil. Turn off and add Honey to taste. Strain and Serve.
Makes 2-3 quarts
Golden Milk
Lubricates Joints and Helps Break up Calcium Deposits.
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric and Ground Cardamom
- 1/4 c Water
- 8 oz. Milk (Soya Milk)
- 2 Tbsp. Raw Almond Oils (or Udo's Oil)
Boil turmeric in water 8 minutes to form paste (may add more water) Add
milk Cardamom, Bring to a Boil. Add Oil and honey if desired. Can whiz
in blender to make frothy for a change.
